Jack has 23 years experience in Telecommunications and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Western Ontario, a Master’s of Business Administration from York University in Toronto and a Certified Management Accountant Degree from the Canadian Society of Management Accountants.
Jovan Strika - Vice President, R&D and Chief Technical Officer
Prior to that, he managed IT departments in several prominent financial institutions in Eastern Europe and Cyprus. He also served as CTO at EXUS Networks, where he oversaw tremendous growth in IT services the company offered. Jovan holds a Bachelor Degree in Ecommerce and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Concordia University.
John Hartin – Vice President, Operations
In addition to his role at Netcelerate, John is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Nurses Foundation, and is a member of the Board of the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Center. He is also a Past Chair of the Board of Directors, the Ottawa Civic Hospital Foundation; Past Member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, the Loeb Medical Research Institute; Past Member of the Board of Trustees, the Ottawa Civic Hospital; Past Member of the Board of Directors, the Ottawa Health Research Institute; and Past Member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, the United Way of Ottawa-Carleton.
David H. Hill C.M., Q.C. - Vice President, Legal
David is Co-Chair of the firm Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP, and he is a member of the Order of Canada. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1967, and appointed to the Queen’s Counsel in 1982. David is a member of the Canadian College of Health Services Executives, the Canadian Association of Healthcare Human Resources Management, the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the County of Carleton Law Association, an is an Honourary Life Member, the Canadian Cancer Society, and an Honourary Life Member, Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police. His Professional Activities include: Honorary Counsel, Council for Health Research in Canada; Honorary Counsel, Ottawa Life Sciences Council; Board of Directors (Chair), Canadian Nurses Foundation; Board of Directors, Ottawa Biotechnology Incubation Centre Inc.; and Member, Board of Trustees, Children's Hospital Of Eastern Ontario
Jacek Jarmoc – Vice President, Channels
Prior to Netcelerate, Jacek spent 27 years with Nortel. Most recently, he was responsible for Nortel’s global SMB business including all products, go-to-market strategy, financial metrics, and valuation of the business unit, managing a team of 300 people worldwide. Jacek holds a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering with a major in Automatic Control from the Technical University in Warsaw (Poland).

Jack Hunt is a founder of Netcelerate bringing a strong mix of management, technical, marketing and finance experience. Prior to Netcelerate, Jack was president of Bell IP Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Canada focused on delivering market leading IP services to small and medium customers. Jack previously worked at Nortel where he held roles in product management, marketing, manufacturing, R&D and finance. In his role as Group Director, Hosting and Storage Networking Solutions, he gained firsthand experience in the nascent data center and hosted application market. Jack was an integral part of the small team that incubated this new business unit ramping from a start-up to $500M in revenue in less than two years. Jack also has many years experience in marketing Nortel's router, ATM and Frame Relay data products.
Jovan Strika is a co-founder of Netcelerate and has more than 10 years of experience in the IT industry in different capacities. Prior Netcelerate, Jovan was a founder of Dotality, a provider of turnkey hosted applications for emerging service providers.
John joined Netcelerate following his retirement from Nortel after a 23-year career. At Nortel, John held various senior management positions in several different parts of the business. The most recent before his retirement was Director, Business Operations, Global Supply Management – a position where he was accountable for many aspects of Nortel’s interaction with its global supply base. Prior to this, John’s management positions within Nortel included Director Communications, Global Supply Management; Director Communications and Marketing Support, Semiconductor Components Group; and Director Plant Engineering and Facilities Management, Semiconductor Components Group, Ottawa.
David is responsible for directing the legal affairs of Netcelerate, as well as providing legal advice to the Management Team.
Jacek is responsible for driving channel sales at Netcelerate. Jacek has an excellent track record for business growth, has been a key member of many senior management teams, and has led worldwide SMB solutions/product management in the communications industry.
